I offer private lessons in electronic music production in Vallila, Helsinki. The content of the lessons is tailored to each student’s interests, goals, and skill level. Popular topics include efficient operation of a music softwate (e.g., Ableton, Logic Pro), drum beats, sampling, synthesis (using synthesizers), recording, mixing, mastering, publishing, and working on your own music projects (guidance in production / songwriting). Any music style is welcome.
I have experience in teaching all ages of students for a wide range of different levels and motivations. You can aim for the charts or it can be just a hobby for you. Are you a songwriter wanting to produce your own songs? Want to learn how to make electronic music? Get help moving from a basic music making app to a Digital Audio Workstation? Or maybe you need some feedback on your mixes or productions and help getting them released?
My aim is to give you everything you need to do your thing!

Bi-weekly
Lesson every two weeks for the semester*

Lesson and holiday schedules
Semesters follow general school term dates and holidays in Helsinki. Exact semester start and end dates will be announced before the start and end of semesters. Joining in mid-semester is also possible. Academic year 25-26: August 18-December 19, 2025 & January 7-May 22, 2026. Early summer extension period: May 25–June 19, 2026 (€39/45 min).
Billing
Monthly invoices will be sent at the end of each month. Semesters consist of 5 invoices in total. Single lessons will be billed after each lesson.
Terms of cancellation
Semester registration is binding, but can be cancelled one week before the first lesson. Cancelling mid-term is possible only for a serious reason. Single lessons can be cancelled for free 24h prior the scheduled time. Cancellations made later than this will be billed in full. Lessons can also be held remotely or study materials can be delivered digitally.
Absences
If the student is absent during the scheduled time, the lesson will not be compensated, but study materials can be delivered digitally in this case. If the teacher is absent (due to illness) the lesson will be rescheduled given that the minimum lesson count wont be fulfilled.
